To be eligible to officiate, every Official needs to do the following, every season:

  1. Be a currently registered USA Hockey official, qualified to work the level of assignment. For more information on the qualifications and fees associated with being a USA Hockey certified official, please visit USA Hockey.

  2. Register for seminar in Colorado. Then attend the day long seminar.Register for a seminar here

  3. Remember age 18 & Older Officials must also register with CAHA for a background check. If you have not yet done so, please do so by going here: click here.

New Rule--615 (c) A game misconduct penalty shall be assessed to any player whose helmet/facemask comes off their head during an altercation.
A match penalty shall be assessed to any player who deliberately removes his (or opponent's) helmet/facemask prior to or during an altercation.
